The Davisville Condos is nearby both Davisville and Eglinton areas. It is mere steps away from the busy Yonge and Eglinton intersection, a mere three minute walk to the Eglinton subway station. Davisville station is a slightly longer walk away, at 7 minutes. Such proximity means having the city and all of its entertainment and culture at your fingertips — as well as all of the options of the surrounding area.
You can’t get more central midtown than this development. This location is ideal for all lifestyles, providing a service to students, young professionals and families alike. The placement of the site makes for easy access to the city, while also providing the comfort of being slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The project boasts a Walk Score of 95 out of 100 and Transit Score of 92 out of 100.
The wealth of one-bedroom + den layouts found in this development mean ample opportunity for students to team up with a roommate, which they likely will due to how close the building is to the subway.
Students will be able to get to downtown campuses like Ryerson University, and University of Toronto in no time. This proximity makes early and late night classes no obstacle at all, while also providing students the comfort of being able to remove themselves from campus after classes are done.
The varied layouts of the suites in this tower also provide considerable options for young professionals. Being located by Eglinton Station means being able to commute easily to the city’s career centres like the Financial District and Entertainment District — and even northern job hubs like North York Centre. This allows for late night business dinners, or quick drinks with friends since home is just a handful of subway stations away. Being in midtown also means being able to come home a little outside the city for some relaxation before diving into the energetic core again the next day.
The cherry on top? The convenience of transit from this location is only set to increase with the upcoming Eglinton LRT that will span along Eglinton, making it particularly easy to travel from one side of the TTC’s Line 1 to the other.
Although being nearby the subway ensures seamless travel both into the city and towards some of the GTA’s more northern urban centres like North York Centre and York Region, the entertainment options in the immediate area are plentiful.
The Yonge and Eglinton strip is home to a variety of retail and dining options. A shopping trip down the street will bring you to major retailers like Sephora, Indigo, LuluLemon, Sporting Life, Urban Outfitters, Winners, Mendocino and more.
Of course, after working up an appetite walking and shopping, you can visit one of the many restaurants in the area. Whether you’re looking for fine dining like Cibo or Grazie, or are more in the mood for a fast bite at Rolltation or Chipotle, all the options are there and suit a variety of budgets. It’s also worth mentioning that the food in the area is also incredibly diverse, as the strip features a wide variety of cuisines like Japanese, Korean, Italian and Mexican — as well as reliable pub food for a quick drink and appetizer at places like Duke of Kent.
