Notting Hill Condos Summary
Next to the enchanted Humber River Valley with its gently rolling green spaces and the Humber Creek is Notting Hills Condos. Currently home to the Plant World nursery, 4000 Eglinton Avenue West will grow into a 5-building community with Notting Hills (Building A) as its 24-storey-tall first phase.
Notting Hills’ Building A, is coming to the Humber Heights – Westmount neighbourhood. As the first building in the upcoming master-planned community to sit at major intersections, Eglinton Avenue West and Royal York Road, this tower will benefit from a prime location in an area seeing great redevelopment. It is still TBD as to how many units will be available here but Lanterra Developments is set to offer a total of 1,900 residences across all 5 towers. Amenities
Designed by Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects, this five-tower community will propose 26 studio suites, 1,370 one-bedroom suites, 390 two-bedroom suites an 114 three-bedroom residences alongside of 1,647 residential parking spaces and 190 guest spaces.
According to the developer’s plans, the 24-storey building is considered Building A, while the 33 storey building is Building B. The 30 and 27 storey buildings are Building’s C and D– and are connected by a shared podium. Lastly, the 18 storey building is Building E. Ground floor retail and commercial space will be found below the residences of buildings B, C, and D.
Tower B at 33 storeys will serve at a height peak for the community with the shorter buildings to the east and west of it. Tower A will feature a long 10-storey podium which will extend westward of the tower. Early plans for the building place all residential amenity space within the podium, at ground or second levels of the buildings. Outdoor amenity space is also carved out for all five buildings with plans designed by NAK Design Strategies. As expected from this luxury builder, expect amenities to cover a wide range of facilities like a fully-equipped gym, party room, media centre, kids zone and a billiards room to name a few. The new condos will likely feature stylish finishes and features as well as a building design that supports sustainable green living. This pre-construction condo is launching very soon so if you have been waiting for the perfect Etobicoke condo community, this is one to keep your eye on.
Location & Neighbourhood
Want to be close to an attractive list of amenities but far from the crowds? This community is exactly that. The vast green space along the Humber River offer a space to meditate, in addition to Fergy Brown Park and Buttonwood Park offer the perfect getaway depending on your mood. A short commute in any direction will get you to your favourite places to grab a bite or indulge in a little retail therapy. Urban amenities and natural surroundings offer you the best of both worlds.
Traveling in this area by vehicle is quite efficient as Highway 401 and 427 are nearby. Those who want to get downtown for work or play are reasonably close to the Gardiner Expressway. Transit users can hop onto region buses that connect riders to various TTC subway stations. The upcoming Crosstown LRT will offer the area a terminal stop called Mount Dennis which is expected to be extended in the future. This westward extension of the Crosstown LRT could eventually serve the site more directly with a stop at Royal York Road. Additionally, the Weston GO Station carries riders directly to Union Station in 17 minutes.
This residential neighbourhood in eastern Etobicoke was long regarded as a low-rise residential neighbourhood but real estate investors are seeing the potential of making this the next epicenter for development. While the crosstown LRT will make this already accessible neighbourhood even more accessible, the local amenities and natural habitat ambiance makes bids this locale the next up and coming place to live and raise a family.
